Craig Lerner

Craig Lerner has more than 30 years of experience as agency owner, agency director and brand-side marketer. With an early focus on advertising and promotion for pharmaceutical and health care companies, he successfully marketed and promoted products for companies like Merck, Procter & Gamble, Pfizer and Eli Lilly.

Craig later built a practice with an emphasis on sports marketing and the sporting goods industry where he and his team developed and managed marketing and promotion projects with brands like Spalding, HEAD, Pro Kennex, Bollé and Louisville Slugger.
Craig was also a co-creator and leader of the marketing and sponsorship teams responsible for launching the TONKA Super Truck Racing Series, which ran with the American LeMans Series and was broadcast on ESPN2.

In 2005, Craig became vice president of marketing at SPRI Products, a Chicago-based fitness products manufacturer. He contributed to strategic and tactical planning, supporting the brand’s leading position in the health club market. He also developed marketing and merchandising solutions for the company’s growing retail presence. Craig was a visible representative in the fitness industry, negotiating and managing key trade relationships and 
marketing partnerships.

Craig later became director of experiential marketing for Fahlgren Advertising (Columbus, OH) and managed promotions, sponsorship activation, live events and mobile tours for brands such as NAPA Auto Parts, Cooper Tire, National City Bank (PNC) and 5-Hour Energy.

As a primary personal interest, Craig has been deeply involved in the battle against lung cancer. He is proud to have served as a National Board Member with LUNGevity Foundation (Chicago) from 2009 through 2012. He also founded Breathe Deep Columbus, a 5K run and walk to fund lung cancer research, in memory of his father, Frank Lerner. Currently, Craig is a Board Member with Cancer Support Community Central Ohio.
