It’s beyond giving back

We were recently honored with Cancer Support Community Central Ohio’s 2016 Corporate Community Award–a deeply meaningful honor to Involve’s founder and president Craig Lerner.

“The Involve team has been able to help this amazing organization reach more people who’s lives can be improved through their services, said Craig Lerner, Involve founder and president. “Unfortunately, I know what it’s like to feel the impact of cancer. Though Lung Cancer claimed both of my parents, I also know what it meant to our family to have the support we needed. When I was invited to join the Board of Directors, I knew that along with the help of the Involve team, we could help spread the message … so that no one faces cancer alone.”

Cancer Support Community programs and services are offered to all those affected by cancer: patients, families, children, friends, coworkers and caregivers – all at no cost. All programs, are managed and facilitated by licensed mental health professionals who are specifically trained in Cancer Support Community philosophy, methodology and administration.

Involve’s journey with Cancer Support Community began in 2013 when Craig joined as a board member. Craig and the Involve team of marketing professionals provide branding and marketing expertise, along with design, writing, PR, social and digital resources to help Cancer Support Community deliver their message to those in need. Currently the First Chairman of the Board, Craig will become Chairman in 2017.

Craig adds: “We are grateful to do the work we do at Involve, and for the amazing clients that empower us to give back. It’s part of our culture – a culture founded on the belief that business is personal, and that life, as well as marketing, is all about human relationships. Supporting organizations like Cancer Support Community connects us to our community in such a tangible way. We get to see the people we’re connecting to. Those people we know are receiving the support they need in part because of us. That’s a powerful reward.”
